RISE for 1 Foundation was born from a shared vision among a small group of close friends and our families. We are a mix of businessmen, former professional soccer players, missionaries and educators, all united by a passion to serve the next generation.
Over years of combined experience and traveling around the world, we saw firsthand the power of soccer. No matter the country, language, or circumstance, the game had a way of breaking barriers. It brought joy, created community, and gave kids a sense of purpose, identity, and hope.
We came from different walks of life, but we all recognized the same thing. Soccer isn’t just a game, it’s a global language. When paired with mentorship and opportunity, it becomes a tool that can transform lives.
That belief led to the creation of RISE for 1, a foundation dedicated to helping underserved, high-character youth experience the world of international soccer, while growing as leaders, teammates, and men of integrity. One player at a time.
Mission Statement
The mission of the RISE for 1 is to provide youth from underserved backgrounds and those who demonstrate leadership, volunteerism, or strong character with life-changing opportunities to train and compete in professional soccer environments around the world. We empower young people through global experiences that foster discipline, cultural awareness, and personal growth, on and off the field.
